📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Saddle Up, Cowboy Country. This is what college football Saturdays are all about.
This weekend, there are only two games in the entire country that feature a top-15 matchup and one of those kicks off at 4:30 at Boone Pickens Stadium when the 12th-ranked Utes of Utah visit Stillwater to do battle with the 15th-ranked Cowboys.
It is just the second meeting all-time between the two historic programs with the first coming back in 1945 when then-named Oklahoma A&M traveled to Salt Lake City to dominate Utah, 46-6, en route to a Sugar Bowl victory and an AFCA National Championship.
Both Coach Gundy and Utah coach Kyle Whittingham are in their 20th season as head coaches, but have never faced off against each other.
🔼 Hoisting Hardware. No better way to start a season than bringing home some hardware.
The nation’s top women’s collegiate doubles duo did just that as OSU’s Ange Oby Kajuru and Anastasiya Komar took home the doubles title at the Battle in the Bay this past weekend.
The pair bested TCU’s #12 duo, 8-2, to claim the trophy. The win marks the first official doubles title for Kajuru and Komar since becoming partners last fall.
🔼 You’ll Fit In Just Fine. Now that’s how you make a first impression.
Tulsa native Ian Bracks made a big splash in his first collegiate tennis tournament, bringing home a singles title from his draw at the Waco Fall Kickoff Classic this past weekend.
The freshman went 3-0 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles with partner Francisco Pini.
Bracks picked up wins over Texas Tech's Brody Nejedly, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), UTSA's Miguel Alonso, 3-6, 7-5, 5-0 (inj. Forfeit), and Texas A&M's Lathan Skrobarcek, 6-2, 6-3.
