Flash Gordon. Even a rainy, cold Saturday on the road can’t slow down “Flash” Gordon.
Ollie Gordon II continued his historic run (pun intended) with a monster day against WVU. The sophomore finished with a career-high 282 yards and four TDs in a thrilling 48-34 victory over the Mountaineers.
OG2’s previous career high was last week with 168 yards on the ground. He now has four straight 100-yard games for the Orange and Black.
Alan Bowman threw for 210 yards and two TDs, including a critical one late in the game to Brennan Presley.
Defensively, the trio of Nick Martin, Collin Oliver and Kendal Daniels combined for 38 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. The defensive unit has now forced eight turnovers during the current three-game win streak.

🎥 OSU MAX: POKES POD REWIND
Now seems like a pretty swell time to run back this Pokes Pod rewind from this summer with Mr. Gordon himself.
He showed flashes during his freshman season with the Cowboys last year and this year, well, you’ve seen what he’s been up to.
Take a look back on OSUMax’s conversation with OG2 prior to the start of the 2023 season.

🔼 Bedlam Is Upon Us. No word brings more emotion and energy out of OSU faithful than “Bedlam.”
Tonight, the first edition of Beldam in 2023 takes place when the Sooners visit Neal Patterson Stadium in the regular season finale for the Cowgirls.
The Orange and Black have locked up a spot in the upcoming Big 12 Tournament beginning Saturday in Round Rock. Oklahoma is holding onto to the final spot in the 10-team tournament. Iowa State is just one point behind OU in the standings.
OSU is 30-9-5 all time against OU and is undefeated in the last eight meetings with the Sooners with a 6-0-2 record. Last season, the teams battled to a 1-1 tie in Norman. OU's last win in the series came in 2018 in Norman.
🔼 Sailin’ to San Diego. Ok, ok, we’re not actually sailing, but the Cowboys are headed west.
Grad student Tyler Zink claimed the ITA Central Region singles title before teaming with Isaac Becroft to win the doubles title on Sunday.
Zink defeated teammate Alex Garcia, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. An appearance in the finals earned Zink and Garcia a ticket to ITA Fall Nationals taking place Nov. 1-5, in San Diego.
🎥 OSU MAX: 1️⃣4️⃣ DAYS AWAY
Today marks 1️⃣4️⃣ days til the start of the 2023-24 OSU hoops seasons and what better way to celebrate than by getting a more in-depth look at who will be wearing #14 for the Cowboys this year, Jamyron Keller.
Keller gives us a look into the type of player he is, what landed him in Stillwater and why he’s excited to be a part of the Orange and Black.
🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA
Come on now, you knew this was going to have to be an Ollie related question, right?
We mentioned earlier that he now has four consecutive 100+ yard rushing performances.
Who was the last Cowboy with four straight 100+ yard outings? Hint: He’s now playing on Sundays.
