🔼 Hog Tied. If we’ve learned thing over the past few years, these Cowboys have some Resilience.

That was on display yet again when SEC foe Arkansas visited BPS on Saturday as the 16th-ranked Pokes fought back to win a thrilling 39-31 decision in OT in front of the sold out crowd.

Defensively, Trey Rucker and Nick Martin were once again outstanding, combining for 33 tackles, with Martin racking up 4.5 TFLs on the day. Obi Ezeigbo had a career day with nine tackles, two sackes and 3.5 TFLs.

After a slow start offensively, the Pokes scored 32 points after halftime, including 18 in the fourth to send the game into OT. Alan Bowman passed for 326 yards on the day, while Brennan Presley led the way with nine catches, 91 yards and a TD.

🔼 Brady’s A Boss. Earlier this spring, former OSU star Brady Basso made his major league debut for the Oakland A’s.

This past weekend, the southpaw made his first MLB start and did so in a major way.

Facing off against one of the hottest second half teams in the Detroit Tigers, Basso tossed six shutout innings, allowing just three hits.

🔼 Keep Rollin', Rollin’, Rollin’. Seven times this fall, the OSU soccer squad stepped onto the pitch. Seven times, they’ve walked away with a clean sheet.

Sunday’s seventh consecutive shutout set a program record, topping the six straight previously set by the 2011 squad.

Along with the stifling defense, the Cowgirls busted out the offense as well, firing home six goals in the 6-0 defeat of previously undefeated UL-Monroe.

Logan Heausler collected her second brace of the season to lead the Cowgirls' attack, and Xcaret Pineda, Laudan Wilson, Nicole Ray and Mabry Williams all found the back of the net in the rout.
