This week, both programs will hit the stage for the Big 12 Tip Off Event in Kansas City, starting with the women’s squad today and the men’s tomorrow.

🔼 As It Should Be. After Saturday’s performance, we could’ve started writing this press release that night.

As it should be, OSU running back Ollie Gordon II was named one of two Big 12 Offensive Players of the Week for his performance in OSU's 39-32 win over No. 23 Kansas Saturday afternoon.

Gordon turned in a career-best game with 168 rushing yards and a touchdown on 29 carries (5.8 yards per carry) while adding 116 receiving yards and a touchdown on six catches.

To put those numbers into perspective, no other FBS player in the past seven seasons has reached Gordon's rushing and receiving totals in the same game, and only five total FBS players have done it since 2000: Gordon vs. Kansas in 2023; MTSU's Richie James vs. FAU in 2016; WVU's Steve Slaton vs. Pittsburgh in 2006; Utah State's Emmett White vs. NMSU in 2000; and Minnesota's Tellis Redmon vs. Illinois in 2000.

His 282 all-purpose yards were the most by a Cowboy since All-American Chuba Hubbard posted 303 against Kansas State in 2019, and his offensive yardage accounted for 51.3% of the Cowboys' offensive production in the game.

🔼 Fall Ballin’. The prep for a fifth straight trip to the WCWS is heavily underway in Stillwater as the Cowgirls are finishing up their fall season, which included spending time with the future of the game this past weekend!

This week, the Orange and Black will host two scrimmages. Tonight, they’ll host Oklahoma Baptist at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, Oklahoma Christian at 6:30 p.m.

Next week, OSUMax.com will host its second LIVE broadcast of the fall, this time bringing you live action of next Thursday’s (Oct 26th) scrimmage with Tulsa. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.

🏈 COUNTRY ROADS…

Country Roads…. With back-to-back thrilling home wins under their belts, the OSU football team will take its show on the road this weekend when it hits the country roads to Morgantown to take on West Virginia on ESPN.

Payback Tour 2023 is underway as the Oklahoma State Cowboys beat 23rd ranked Kansas 39-32 avenging last season's loss to the Jayhawks.

Joining Thompson and Wright is an incoming class that is ranked as high as seventh nationally.
