On the court, on the mat, it doesn’t matter and the Pokes showed that this weekend with nationally-ranked wins on both surfaces for the Orange & Black.

🎥 OSUMAX: A LEGEND REMEMBERED

A true OSU legend. There’s no other way to describe Cecil O’Brate.

This past weekend, at the age of 95, O’Brate passed away. His impact on OSU and Cowboy baseball will forever be remembered.

🔺 Great Eight. And the beat goes on.

The undefeated OSU wrestling squad remain unblemished with a decisive 27-9 victory over #16 Oregon State, giving the Cowboys their sixth victory over a ranked opponent already this season.

Oklahoma State fell behind early, facing a 9-5 deficit after three matches, but it rattled off seven straight wins to ultimately claim the dual. It was an afternoon full of tight matches, as four Cowboys picked up wins in either sudden victory or tiebreakers.

🔺 Court Masters. What a weekend at Greenwood.

It all started Friday afternoon with a thrilling men’s match and victory over a gritty MTSU squad and the women followed suit with not one, but ✌️ top-15 victories over Big 10 squads.

The Cowgirls won a Friday evening showdown with the fourth-ranked Wolverines of Michigan, 4-2, and then on Sunday rolled past #14 Ohio State, 4-1 to the delight of a tremendous home crowd.

🔺 The Climb Continues. And we’re done to four.

The NFL playoffs continued with four incredible battles over the weekend and the Playoff Pokes are still climbing.

OSU is guaranteed to be represented in the Super Bowl as both Malcolm Rodriguez (Lions) and Tay Martin (49ers) reached the NFC Championship game and will face off next Sunday evening.

On the AFC side, the top-seeded Ravens advanced with the help of the Cowboy duo of Tylan Wallace and Justice Hill. They will battle the Chiefs next Sunday afternoon in Baltimore.

🎥 OSUMAX: MY TIME

After a huge weekend for the Pokes on the court, there’s no better time to behind the scenes with OSU alumni Michael and Anne Greenwood, who have been staunch supporters of the Orange & Black.

In 2014, the Greenwood Tennis Center was opened, which set up a new era for OSU and set the stage for weekends such as this past one.

In 2024, the tennis facility will host the Big 12 Championships and the NCAA Championships.

Learn more about the Greenwood's and their story of why it was important to help fund a new facility for the tennis team.
