🔼 I Like Mike. Mike Marsh, a 6-foot-11, 240-pound forward, is joining the Oklahoma State men's basketball program.

A stalwart in the low post who featured prominently at Jacksonville the past two seasons, Marsh has 36 career Division I starts to his credit and averaged 10.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for the Dolphins on 55.2 percent shooting from the field a season ago.

Marsh is the second Division I transfer to choose the Cowboys this offseason, joining guard Javon Small, who led East Carolina in scoring a year ago.

Marsh and Small add to a 2023 Oklahoma State recruiting class that garnered a top 10 national ranking from 247sports (No. 8), Rivals (No. 9) and ESPN (No. 10) even before their arrival.

🔼 Talent Acquisition. Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has boosted its backcourt with a highly-coveted transfer in Kennedy Fauntleroy it was announced yesterday by Cowgirl head coach Jacie Hoyt.

A native of Upper Marlboro, Md., Fauntleroy enjoyed a productive season as a freshman at Georgetown in 2022-23. She was unanimously named the Big East Freshman of the Year and to the league's all-freshman team as well.

In league play, she averaged 11.9 points and 4.3 rebounds to go with 2.7 steals and 2.9 assists over 19 contests. Additionally, Fauntleroy was named the Big East Freshman of the Week on six occasions.

🔼 One More For The Road. OSU is 30-14 overall and tied for second in the Big 12 standings with an 11-7 conference mark. Up next, the Cowboys host East Tennessee State in a weekend series at O'Brate Stadium in their final non-conference games of the regular season.

• East Tennessee State is 20-22 on the season and fifth in the Southern Conference standings at 6-9.

• Joe Pennucci is in his sixth season as ETSU's head coach and owns a 148-117 career record.

• OSU and ETSU have never met on the baseball diamond.

🔼 The Bowerman Boy. Oklahoma State distance runner Fouad Messaoudi was named to The Bowerman Watch List, the organization announced Thursday.

Messaoudi is the fourth Cowboy to be named to the Watch List for track & field's version of the Heisman Trophy since the award's inception in 2009, joining German Fernandez (Finalist, 2010), Nick Miller (Semifinalist, 2016) and Chad Noelle (Watch List, 2016).

The Bowerman—collegiate track & field's highest honor—will be awarded in December at the USTFCCCA Convention in Denver, Colorado. Only marks from the 2023 indoor or outdoor collegiate track & field seasons are to be considered for the award.

Orange Power Weekend was full of events starting with the Cowgirls Softball team hosting Iowa State and the Cowboys Baseball team hosting West Virginia. The 17th annual Remember the 10 run along with a Cowboys Football Meet and Greet provided fans with a productive weekend in Stillwater.
