🎥 OSUMAX: AUGUSTA BOUND

On Monday afternoon, one of our own got the call to one of golf’s elite courses.

Senior Maddison Hinson-Tolchard received an invitation to compete in the 2024 Augusta National Women’s Amateur this coming April.

The Australian native has been dominating courses all over the world for years now and has etched her name all over the Cowgirl record book.

Jump in the OSUMax Rewind machine to get to know Maddison when we sat her down on the Pokes Pod last year.

🔺 The Climb Continues. Prior to the beginning of the spring season, the OSU women’s tennis team had already made program history with the highest preseason ranking in program history (#5).

This week, history was made once again as the Orange & Black rose to #3 this week, the highest ranking in program history.

Up next, OSU heads to ITA Kickoff Weekend in Des Moines, Iowa, where the 12th-ranked Bruins of UCLA await. A 2-0 weekend would earn a berth in the ITA Indoor National Championships.

🔺 Heartbreak Hotel. No amount of Skyline Chili will help get through an absolute heartbreaker for the OSU women’s hoops team.

The Cowgirls fell behind early, but battled back to take a lead in the fourth quarter, but a last second layup by Cincinnati was the difference in a 58-56 road loss on Wednesday night.

🔺 Shiny Diamonds. 47 wins. Four straight trips to the WCWS. Four starters returning.

And now you can add 3️⃣ top-15 preseason rankings to the 2024 Cowgirl softball squad’s resume.

This week, the Orange & Black were slotted #11 in the ESPN/USA Softball preseason rankings. It’s the third one of the season after being slotted at No. 12 and No. 14 in the D1Softball and Softball America top 25, respectively.

With this year's set of preseason rankings, it marks the seventh straight year OSU will begin the season inside the top 25.

🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA

On Wednesday, the Cowboy duo of Carson Benge and Nolan Schubart were selected to the 2024 Preseason All-Big 12 squad.

The young pair look to lead the Orange & Black to another big year on the diamond.

How many RBIs did the sophomore duo combine for last spring?
