🥎 NEW PLACE, SAME RESULT

Well, this doesn’t come to surprise to any of us that have
watched Lexi Kilfoyl over the past two years.

In her first two professional starts, the hurler was dominant tossing not one, but ✌️ complete games for her squad to lead them to victories of
5-1 and 6-0 in the Athletes Unlimited Professional softball league.

In 14 innings of work, Kilfoyl allowed just one run, scattered 10 hits
and struck out eight to go 2-0 in her first two starts.

🏈 THE BIG 5-0!

There are plenty of special weekends each fall in Stillwater, but it’s tough to top reunion weekend.

This fall, OSU will have the privilege of honoring its 1974 Fiesta Bowl championship team on November 23 when the Cowboys host Texas Tech.

This season marks the 50-year anniversary for a 1974 squad that gave OSU its first bowl win and appearance in 16 years with a 16-6 win over No. 17 BYU. That Cowboy team also finished the year ranked No. 10 in total defense and was among the national leaders in passing defense.

🌎 GOING GLOBAL

When we talk about the global reach of America’s Brightest Orange, we aren’t exaggerating.

Just one look at former Cowboy hoopers will tell you that as this past season saw 19 OSU alums play in 16 different countries and on four different continents.

Six of those Pokes won championships and four won all-league accolades.

⏱ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 33 DAYS

Number of the Day: 33

No better place to spend your last season of college football than Stillwater.

Wearing #33 this fall is incoming grad student Obi Ezeigbo, a defensive end who arrived this spring after previous starring at Division Gannon University in Erie, Pa., where he was coached by OSU defensive coordinator Bryan Nardo.

Ezeigbo had a breakout 2023 season, leading the team with 7.5 sacks, while also racking up 10.5 TFLs and 54 overall tackles.
