🔼 Garzon Garners. She’s ready.
One last time on the court and Lior Garzon is ready to make it count as the OSU senior enjoyed a breakout season last year and is garnering preseason praise entering the 2023-24 campaign.
This week, the Ra'anana, Israel native was named Big 12 Honorable Mention by the league’s coaches.
Last season, she played in 33 games, making three starts and set the school's single-season mark with her 80 made 3-pointers. The 6-1 forward finished the year ranked in the top 25 nationally in 3-point field-goal percentage at 41 percent.
The Cowgirl sharpshooter finished the year as the squad's second-leading scorer at 10.8 points per game and became the first Cowgirl to average double figures in a reserve role since Toni Young in 2011-12.
🔼 Down Under Cowboy. Let’s be honest, most of us start asking “are we there yet” about 2-3 hours into a road trip.
For Cowboy freshman, Derek Pham, his patience is built up way past that.
His flight from his hometown of Perth, Australia to Stillwater? 31 hours.
🔼 C-ya in Cincy. Skyline Chili anyone?
There’s a first time for everything. Tonight is that for the OSU and Cincinnati women’s soccer programs as the two will meet for the first time ever. The Bearcats are Big 12 newcomers so this is the first showdown with them for the Orange and Black.
OSU enters tonight’s matchup looking to start up a new winning streak as they’ve had two five-game winning streaks this fall and sit in third in the Big 12 standings at 4-1 in league play.
🔼 Starting At The Top. Nothing like starting a new season with the biggest challenge of them all.
OSU’s equestrian squad will open up its 2023 season this morning at 1 pm when they host TCU, who currently sits at #1 in the country. The Orange and Black start the season ranked fifth nationally.
The Cowgirls are coming off another successful season last year, winning its third-straight Big 12 title and fourth consecutive semifinals appearance in the national tournament.
TCU is 1-0 with after an upset win against preseason No. 1 SMU in its opener.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER
Answer: Kansas.
Sorry, no pictures or video available from back in 1956, but the Cowboys battled the Jayhawks back on Oct. 26, 1956 in a contest that kicked off at 2 pm. KU pulled out a 21-13 victory on that afternoon.
All-time OSU is 32-16-6 in Friday home games.
🤠 Enjoy your day, Pokes!
