Camp starts this week, but the recognition is
already rolling in for our guy Ollie.

This week, Gordon was one of 80 FBS players named to
the watch list for the 88th Maxwell Award. He is one of five returning semifinalists for the award, which is presented annually to the outstanding player in college football.

OG2 returns to OSU with potential to make a run at the Heisman Trophy after
leading the nation in rushing yards and winning the Doak Walker Award,
unanimous All-America honors, Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and
more Heisman votes than any other running back in 2023.

🏈 MUSTACHE MANIA

One of the biggest talks coming out of Big 12 Media Days earlier this month was the new look of QB Alan Bowman.

The Pistol Pete-esque look drew plenty of eyes and questions.

So why the new look? It’s much more than a mustache for Bowman.

Prior to last fall, an OSU running back had piled up over 1500+ yards
in a single-season only three times.

That became four after Ollie Gordon II exploded for 1732 yards, good for
the sixth highest single-season total in program history.
