🔼 A Little Home Cookin’. Man, it feels good to be home.
The OSU men’s hoops team returned to Stillwater last night in a BIG way, using five guys in double-figures to blow past visiting New Orleans, 96-68.
It was a stellar debut for freshman Jamyron Keller, who was playing for the first time all season. Keller, who missed the first four games with an injury, wowed the home crowd with 18 points, 7-of-10 from the floor and four three-pointers.
Javon Small continued his strong play with 16 points and six assists, while Mike Marsh added a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
As a team, the Cowboys shot over 58-percent from the field.
🔼 Bahama Battlin’. Hoopin’ the Bahamas? Yeah, that’ll do.
The Cowgirls opened up their short trip to the islands with an offensive shootout against the undefeated Nittany Lions of Penn State with both teams trading blows throughout the evening, but PSU did just enough to come away with the 89-80 victory.
The two teams combined for 21 3-pointers and neither team shot below 45-percent from the field as the shooting was even hotter than the weather outside.
Quincy Noble led four Cowgirls in double-figures with a season-high 15 points in the contest, while Lior Garzon and Anna Gret Asi finished with 13 apiece and Chandler Prater rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11.
New polls just dropped!

🔼 Poll Position. While they might not climb as quick as Taylor Swift, the Cowboys are rising yet again.
With the road win over Houston this past weekend, the Orange & Black climbed to #21 in both the AP and the Coaches Poll.
With just Saturday's matchup against BYU remaining in the 2023 regular season, the Cowboys have been ranked in either the AP Top 25 or Coaches Poll entering its final game of the regular season in 10 of the past 14 seasons.
🔼 Hey Now, He’s An All-Star. Tonight, newcomer Izzak Olejnik will put the Orange & Black on against the best.
Olejnik, a transfer from NIU, will compete at the 2023 NWCA All-Star Classic on the campus of Penn State this evening.
Currently ranked #6 in the country at 165 pounds, he’ll take on Wisconsin’s Dean Hamiti, who currently sits at #4 in the country and is 5-1 this season.
Olejnik is currently 5-0 on the year following a 10-2 major decision in OSU's season opener against Bucknell and first-place finish at the Lindenwood Open on Saturday. There, he picked up a pair of falls en route to a perfect 4-0 weekend.
A native of Bakersfield, Calif., Olejnik is the first Cowboy to compete in the All-Star Classic since Kaid Brock, Jacobe Smith and Derek White all wrestled at the event in 2018.
🏆 NUMBER 53
There’s no such thing as celebrating a national championship too long, right?
The trophy cases in Stillwater will need to expand a little bit more after #53 is on its way back home.
The OSU men’s cross country squad is bringing it home, their fifth national title as a program and the 53rd in OSU Athletics history.
And they did so in historic fashion.
With all five runners finishing in the top 15, the Cowboys posted the best team finish since 2005 (Wisconsin) and the third-best score since 2000.
🎧 POKES POD
Brennan Presley is continuing to make his name on the football field for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The senior wide receiver from Tulsa is entering the top 10 in all major receiving categories and is doing so as one of the toughest guys on the football field at only 5-8 and 175 pounds.
As the 2023 season winds down Presley leads the Cowboys in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns Learn more about Presley on and off the field in this episode of the Pokes Pod.
