🔼 Must See Maddie. As the OSU Cowgirl golf team gets underway this fall, the reigning two-time Big 12 Conference Player of the Year will have a few extra eyes on her this year.
This week, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard was been named to the 2023-24 ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel Preseason Watch List.
Created in 2014, the ANNIKA Award is annually given to the top female Division I collegiate golfer; with the winner voted on by players, coaches and members of the college golf media. Named after and presented by golfing legend Annika Sorenstam, the award was created in partnership with the Haskins Foundation.
Hinson-Tolchard makes this prestigious preseason list for her second-consecutive season.
The back-to-back Big 12 Player of the Year opened her senior campaign strong at the Carmel Cup earlier this month, logging her 14th career top-10 finish highlighted by weekend rounds of 68 and 70.

Throughout history, Cowboys have been brought in to help wrangle wild animals and guide everyone to safety.
This weekend, the OSU Cowboys will look to tame a whole new animal, the Jaguars of South Alabama.
The Orange and Black will look for its third straight win this season and against USA as the two programs squared off in 2017 and 2018, both were victories for OSU.

🎧 OSU MAX PODCASTS
Following in her parents footsteps and coming to Oklahoma State is something Cowgirls soccer senior forward/midfielder Megan Haines wanted to do.

The Tulsa native played in 71 games entering her super senior season becoming one of the leaders for Colin Carmichael's team.
Learn more about Megan in this week's Pokes Pod.
⛳️ RECRUITING RICKIE
This weekend, Rickie Fowler will be officially enshrined as an Cowboy legend when he’s inducted into the OSU Athletics Hall of Fame.
So how did a Southern California golf superstar find his way to Stillwater?
OKstate.com sat down with former Cowboy head coach Mike McGraw to get the full story.
🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA
Feeling 💯. This weekend, Justin Blackmon will join Rickie Fowler and four other OSU greats as the Class of 2023 will be inducting into the OSU Athletics Hall of Fame.
Blackmon is the only Cowboy to ever post ✌️seasons of 100 or more receptions. In fact, it’s only happened four times in program history and Blackmon has two of them.
Can you name the other two OSU stars that had seasons of 100 or more catches?
Think you got it?

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER
Answer: Rashaun Woods and Josh Stewart.
In 2002, Rashaun Woods set records that many OSU fans would never be broken with 107 catches, 23 more than the previous single-season record.
Eight years later, Justin Blackmon came along (111 in 2010, 122 in 2011) and Josh Stewart followed right behind with 101 in 2012.
Now that’s some great sets of hands right there!
🤠 Enjoy your Wednesday, y’all! You’re halfway through the week!
