Cowboy Brew 9/20: Back in BPS with JB

Blackmon's Return to BPS

Good morning Pokes. Trips to BPS are always special.

The electric atmosphere may not have been louder or more crazy than when Justin Blackmon roamed the gridiron and torched opposing defenses.

This past weekend, the legend returned to Stillwater and OSU Max was right there with him for a special, My Time piece.

What else do we have stirring in today’s Brew! Check it out below!

What a weekend it was for JB!

The former Oklahoma State star wide receiver joined the list of Hall of Honor inductees on Friday night.

Then on Saturday night, the two time Biletnikoff Award joined his other 2023 inductees on the field at Boone Pickens Stadium as Orange Power VIPs.

Go inside his weekend and hear from Blackmon on the honor.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Might Want To Order A New One... With under 50 days until tipoff, it looks like we might need Amazon on the phone ASAP.

How fast do you think they can deliver a new rim to Stillwater?

🔼 California Dreamin. As most college students are preparing for tests and exams in the classroom, sophomore Lucia Peyre is taking on a test on the courts.

Peyre and the Cowgirls assistant coach, Samantha Crawford, are in California competing in the ITF 60k Pro Circuit event in Berkeley.

Peyre defeated Mao Mushika of Japan in two sets, 6-2, 6-2, while Crawford fell to American Tori Kinard, having retired from the match after losing the first set 6-4.

With her advancement, Peyre will take on American Ellie Douglas tomorrow afternoon with a quarterfinal berth on the line. Fans can follow along through live scoring and select livestreams on the ITF Tennis website throughout the week.

🔼 Up Off The Mat. “It's not about how many times you fall down. It's about how many times you get back up”

After this weekend’s tough 33-7 home loss to South Alabama, the Cowboys will be looking for a bounce back opportunity in a big way to kick off Big 12 conference play.

First up? A trip to Ames and a Saturday afternoon date with the Cyclones of Iowa State.
