🎥 MY TIME: SCOTLAND DAVID

Sunday’s Senior Day at Cowgirl Stadium was capped off in the best way possible… a walk off by Scotland David, who is a walking testament to not giving up.

The Ponte Vedra, Florida native, has overcome personal losses and season ending injuries, remaining at OSU to fulfill her childhood dream of playing for the Cowgirls.

Learn more about the perseverance of Scotland and how each obstacle is making her stronger as she finishes her career with Cowgirl Softball.

🔺 Senior Salutin’. No better way to go out than on top, right?

The incredible senior class of Cowgirl softball closed out the regular season portion of their home careers with a dominant sweep of visiting Kansas over the weekend.

On a weekend that saw the single-season home attendance record go down, the Orange & Black treated the home crowd to victories of 5-2, 6-5 and a run rule 9-1 in the series finale.

🔺 One Step Closer... The Stars & Stripes are almost secured.

OSU true freshman Cael Hughes claimed the 61 kg freestyle title at this past weekend’s U.S. Open Championships in Las Vegas.

With the victory, Hughes has secured his spot in the best-of-three finals at the U20 World Team Trials in June.

In an impressive showing, Hughes went 6-0 over the weekend with four technical falls and a 59-13 combined margin of victory.

🔺 Three Of A Kind. You know those time when it all comes together?

Well, that’s the exactly the type of weekend the 19th-ranked OSU baseball squad had, sweeping the series against BYU with victories of 11-5 and 12-5 on Friday, to go along with the 17-5 victory in game one on Thursday night.

The victory gives the Cowboys five straight, tying the longest win streak of the season for OSU.

In the three games, the Pokes smashed 13 home runs, and also recorded 45 strikeouts on the mound against the Cougars.

🔺 When Dreams Become Reality. All those years playing as future NFL players in their back yards, and now those dreams are officially a reality.

Four former Cowboys saw that reality this past weekend as they’ve signed free agent deals with NFL organizations and will fight their way for a roster spot in training camps.

Elijah Collins (Cincinnati Bengals), Nathan Latu (New Orleans Saints), Anthony Goodlow (Los Angeles Rams) and Leon Johnson (Los Angeles Chargers) all signed deals over the weekend.

🎥 INSIDE THE FILM ROOM

Safety Kendal Daniels played a big role in the Cowboys defense in 2023 as a leader of the secondary in Bryan Nardo's new defense.

Daniels finished the year ranked among the Big 12 leaders with two fumble recoveries (second), 62 solo tackles (fifth), 105 total tackles (fifth) and 7.5 tackles per game (eighth).

Go inside the film room as Kendal and former Cowboy Richetti Jones break down some of his biggest plays from his redshirt sophomore season.
