🔺 Tuesday, Tuesday... Special teams, special players, special plays.

No matter the location, the 20th-ranked OSU baseball team got the same result as the Cowboys picked up their ninth win in their past 11 games with a 9-5 victory at Wichita State.

The dynamic duo of Nolan Schubart and Carson Benge paced the Orange & Black offense as the pair combined to go 4-for-6 with four runs scored, five RBIs and three extra base hits.

On the mound, junior Janzen Keisel set the tone, tossing 2.2 shutout innings to lead the way for seven different Cowboy hurlers, who combined to strike out 11 on the night.

🔺 Keep Climbin’. On the heels of a five-game win streak, the OSU softball squad continued its climb in the national polls this week, reaching the top five in every major poll for the first time this season.

The Cowgirls are on the road for a rematch with Tulsa this evening before heading to Ames for a showdown with the Cyclones this weekend.

🔺 Doublin’ Up. With the national meet just a few weeks away, the OSU equestrian squad started piling up the accolades a little early.

This week, the National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced its All-America teams for the 2023-24 season, with Oklahoma State riders Claire McDowall and Riley Hogan each picking up a nomination.

McDowall and Hogan are now two-time All-Americans, with McDowall claiming a spot on Horsemanship's second team and Hogan landing as an honorable mention in Fences.

This is the second consecutive year that both McDowall and Hogan were named All-Americans, as both earned a spot on the second team of their respective events in 2023. Both were named to the 2024 All-Big 12 teams, with Hogan also earning a spot on the conference's Flat team.

🔺 The Record Setter. When you set a program record, you’re going to garner some attention.

That’s the case for OSU softball star Caroline Wang after she set a new school record this past weekend en route to earning Louisville Slugger/NFCA National Player of Week and Big 12 Player of the Week honors.

Wang swept the weekly awards after helping lead the Cowgirls to a series sweep over Houston this past weekend. In three games against the Cougars, Wang went a combined 7-for-9 (.778) with two doubles, four home runs and 10 RBIs,

The Paris, Tenn., native elevated her home run total to 15 on the season, which is tied for first in the Big 12 and sixth in the nation. Additionally, Wang has now set the school record for most home runs in a single season by a catcher, with 15.

🏀 WELCOME HOME, COWBOY!

Before we know it, Coach Lutz and the Cowboys will be taking
the floor at Gallagher-Iba Arena to do battle with the opposition.

But last week, Lutz made his first impression
with the OSU family at the introductory press conference.

After last week’s introductory presser, Coach Lutz stepped into the media scrum.

Listen in as Coach Lutz talks with local media about his vision and
so much more.

Myles Smith is one of the first players coached by Coach Lutz in his first ever head coaching job.
