In OSU’s 29-21 win over Kansas State, Hale booted five field goals and his effort earned him the Lou Groza Award “Star of the Week”.

Hale, a senior from Point Frederick, New South Wales, Australia, matched OSU's program record with five field goals in the Cowboys' win. He also tied his career-long with a 53-yarder to go with connections from 43, 34, 31 and 25 yards.

🔼 The Top Spot. It was a a busy start to the week for the OSU men’s golf squad, who competed in Big 12 Match Play, along with five individuals competing at the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational wrapped up play on Tuesday at Sand Creek Station.

In Big 12 Match Play, the Cowboys dropped two tough matches, 3-1 to Texas Tech and 4-1 to Texas, but fifth year Rayhan Thomas captured his first career victory in the Grier Shocker Invite.

Thomas shot a final round of 65 to finish four shots clear of the rest of the field with a 16-under overall.
