🎙 JB JOINS THE OLD POKES SHOW
Former Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon is the newest member of the College Football Hall of Fame. He is the sixth Cowboys player to earn the Hall of Fame status.
He joins Deion Imade and Clint Chelf for a special edition of The Old Pokes Show to discuss being selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

🔺 The Earl of Stillwater. Add another one to Ollie Gordon II’s resume.
On Wednesday night, OG2 was named the of the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, announced by the Tyler Chamber and SPORTyler during a banquet at the W.T. Brookshire Conference Center in Tyler, Texas.
The award recognizes the top offensive player in Division I football who also exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community and tenacity. Candidates must have either been born in Texas, graduated from a Texas high school or played at a Texas-based junior college or four-year Division I Texas college.
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Gordon has also been named the Doak Walker Award winner, a unanimous All-America selection and the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. He also earned a seventh-place finish in the voting for the Heisman Trophy while receiving the most votes for the Heisman by a running back this season.
🔺 Cowgirl Raid. The Orange & Black landed in Lubbock and went on a raid.
Wednesday night, the OSU women’s hoops team continued its strong play of late with a decisive 71-58 victory at Texas Tech.
It was the defensive side of the court that shined the brightest for the Cowgirls, who limited TTU to just 36-percent from the field and 28-percent from long range.
Offensively, Hannah Gusters led all scorers with 19 points on 8-11 shooting, with 15 coming in the second half. Stailee Heard finished with 12 points while Lior Garzon added 11 and Quincy Noble had 10.
🔺 Ready To Ride. The calendar has turned and the Pokes are ready to ride.
This weekend, four more squads open up the 2024 portion of their schedules with both tennis squads in action, along with the track & field teams lacing them up for the first time this winter.
Track & Field gets underway on Friday with a trip to Arkansas, while the women’s tennis team competes at the Freeman Memorial Invite in Las Vegas all weekend. The men’s tennis team hits the courts on Saturday for two home matches with UTRGV at 11 am and Omaha at 6 pm.
