🎥 OSU MAX

There’s something about knowing you have one last go-round.

After a successful career at Michigan State, running back Elijah Collins transferred to Oklahoma State for his final college season.

Learn more about the Detroit, Michigan native, what drives him, what brought him to Stillwater and his feeling about being a part of the Cowboys in 2023.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Twine Ticklers. Scoring in futbol can be a challenge. It’s typically a fairly low scoring game.

Don’t tell the Cowgirls that as they are currently averaging four goals a game through the first six games of the 2023 season, which is tied for the fourth-most prolific offense in the country.

Even more impressive? 10 different players have scored a goal and 14 have scored a point in just six games.

Junior Hannah Chance, who missed all of last season with an injury, has returned with vengeance and is currently one of just nine players in the country with seven or more goals.

Tomorrow, they take the show on the road for the first of three straight road games starting at Arkansas State, followed by SMU on Sunday and the Big 12 opener at Iowa State next week.

🔼 Cowboys In the Desert? Yes Sir. If City Slickers taught us one thing, it’s the Cowboys know how to handle the desert.

That test will be on display this weekend when OSU travels to Tempe to take on future Big 12 foe Arizona State in a Saturday night showdown on FS1.

The game will make 2023 the third consecutive season that the Cowboys have played in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.

The conclusion of the 2021 season saw the Cowboys claim a Fiesta Bowl trophy with a win over Notre Dame, while OSU returned to the Valley of the Sun a year later to take on Wisconsin in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. This year's non-conference game at Arizona State will mark a third consecutive year with a trip to the desert, as well as a third different venue played in.

Let’s dive into this weekend’s matchup.

🔼 Coming To A Court Near You. The US Open is just keeping the courts warm for the Cowboys.

Flushing Meadows is one of the final stops on a busy fall slate for the OSU men’s tennis team that unveiled its full slate of tournaments this week.

The fall schedule kicks off later this month with the Big 12-SEC Challenge, right here in Stillwater.

🎧 OSU MAX PODCASTS

Former OSU star running back Tatum Bell finished his time in Stillwater as one of the best in school history.

His 3,409 yards are the 9th best in school history to go along with his 34 touchdowns for sixth at OSU.

Learn more about Bell and his time in Orange and Black in this edition of the Pokes Pod.

🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA

Sun Devil Showdowns. Saturday’s showdown in the desert will be the fifth all-time meeting between ASU and OSU.

The series began back in 1984 and ran through last year’s 34-17 Cowboy victory in Stillwater.

The first all-time meeting brought a young OSU team to Tempe to take on an Arizona State team that some had picked to win a national championship.

On the opening drive by the Sun Devils, a sack and forced fumble, which led to a defensive TD which started the 45-3 onslaught by OSU.

Which Cowboy had the sack and forced fumble on the opening drive?
