🔼 No Plott Twist Needed. Rising senior Dustin Plott booked some future travel plans this past weekend, winning his second straight U23 Freestyle National Championship on Sunday in Geneva, Ohio.

Plott dominated his competition at the 79 kg weight class, piling up a 7-0 record, including three shutout victories. With the win, he secured his spot at the U23 World Championships from October 23-29 in Tampere, Finland.

He joined incoming 2023 signee Christian Caroll, who won the U20 Freestyle National Championship on Saturday. The duo will now both compete at World Championships this fall.

🔼 Big & Tall Addition. Talk about a way to start off the week! The OSU men’s basketball landed a BIG addition with the signing of former top-40 national prospect, Isaiah Miranda.

Miranda, who is listed at 7-foot-1, comes to Stillwater with four years of eligibility remaining after reclassifying in order to enroll at NC State in December of 2022, but after redshirting the remainder of last season, he comes to the Cowboys ready to make an impact.

Coming out of high school, Rivals ranked him as the nation's No. 30 overall prospect and On3 had him at No. 40.

🔼 Raising The Bar. This year’s Oklahoma State softball team earned its fourth-straight trip to the NCAA Women's College World Series, which set a new program record for consecutive WCWS appearances. The Cowgirls earned the No. 6 national seed and earned a victory over Utah at this year’s College World Series—but ultimately had their season come to a close over the weekend.

But the squad continued to raise the bar and set a new standard for the program. With leadership on the roster like Taylor Tuck displayed, it’s easy to see why this program has built up so much success.

Behind a plethora of returning star power led by freshman All-American Tallen Edwards, the Cowboys will look to reload and return back to the WCWS next spring.

🔼 Viktory Weekend. Former OSU golf standout Viktor Hovland earned a thrilling PGA win this past weekend, taking home the top prize with a playoff win over Denny McCarthy at Memorial. It’s his fourth career PGA tour victory and first in 2023. He has now finished in the top-10 seven times this season.

With the win this past weekend, the former Cowboy now moves into the top-5 in the World Golf Rankings.

🔼 Teammates For Life. Viktor Hovland wasn’t done on the course as he quickly turned around after his victory and switched duties by caddying for his former OSU teammate Zach Bauchou who’s competing in the U.S. Open Final Qualifying in Columbus.

🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA

Olympic Pedigree. Over the weekend, former OSU wrestler Jimmy Jackson was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. The former All-American competed at the 1976 Olympics as a 19-year-old college sophomore.
