🔼 Feelin’ 22. Let’s be honest, who isn’t a Swiftie this days?
We are just 22 days away from the return of Cowgirls futbol and a quest for another Big 12 Championship for Coach Carmichael’s squad, who enter the fall loaded with young and hungry talent.
🔼 Save The Date(s). No, we don’t have any cheesy, staged pictures in a meadow or on a beach for you, but we do have some dates to lock in those iPhone calendars of yours (we guess you can too Andrioid users).
🔼 The Honors Court. Holding court in the classroom? That’s exactly what the OSU men’s hoops team did this past year.
Rising seniors Weston Church and Carson Sager were named to the NABC Honors Court and the Cowboys collectively earned the organization's Team Academic Excellence Award.
🔼 Plotting the Course. The oldest golf tournament in the world got a taste of the Orange and Black this past weekend as the 154th edition of the Open Championship featured five OSU alums in the field.
Four of those five golfers finished in the top-33 with three in the top-25.
Viktor Hovland captured off an incredible showing in the majors with his fourth top-20 showing of the year. He finished seventh at the Masters, second at the PGA Championship and 19th at the US Open. This weekend, he finished tied for 13th at 3-under par.
Rickie Fowler and Alex Noren both finished tied for 23rd at even par, while reigning US Open Champion Wyndham Clark finished tied for 33rd at 1-over for the weekend.
🔼 From Our Leader. No doubt about it.
OSU Athletics is on the rise and it’s taking over in so many sports. The Orange and Black success in competition, in the classroom and much more is at an all-time high.
As we head into the 2023-24 season, our leader, Chad Weiberg, wanted to reflect back on a year to remember, but preview what he’s excited about in our future!
Let’s get it @DavidCason12 💪

The Cowboys are headed to Spain from Aug. 5-15 with scheduled stops in Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.
In addition to extra practice reps, an OSU roster featuring nine new scholarship players will benefit from early tests against three international opponents. 🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 38 DAYS
No better way to celebrate 38 days to kickoff than our own #38, Emmanuel Ogbah.
Now entering his ninth NFL season this fall, Ogbah was a menace to opposing offenses while in Stillwater.
During his four seasons, he twice earned All-Big 12 accolades and currently sits fourth all-time in sacks at 28.
He was named the 2014 Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year and the 2015 Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year.
He was a second round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. He has since won a Super Bowl (as part of the Chiefs in 2019) and racked up 37 career sacks at the NFL level.
🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA
Above we mentioned that Emmanuel Ogbah ranks fourth all-time in career sacks at Oklahoma State.
Ogbah’s total of 28 sacks is six less than the career leader in that category.
Can you name who is the all-time sack leader for the Cowboys?
Think you got it?
