🎥 OSUMAX: YOU GAVE US EVERYTHING

It never gets easier.
At some point, every season comes to an end.

For the OSU softball squad, after a fifth straight trip to the WCWS,
their 2024 season came to a close over the weekend.

OSUMax takes you inside the locker room for one final speech from Coach G.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 The Oregon Trail. No, we’re not playing the old school computer game.

We’re talking about the week ahead for OSU track & field.

18 different Pokes are headed west to compete at the NCAA Championship meet, hosted by the University of Oregon and set to begin on Wednesday.

ESPN and ESPN2 will cover the meet throughout the week.

🔺 Among The Elite. Two of OSU’s newest faces have already established themselves among the elite in the country.

Over the weekend, Associate Head Coach James Miller and Assistant Coach Mike Ekanem were selected to participate in the prestigious TopConnect Basketball Symposium next week in Las Vegas.

TopConnect identifies top assistant basketball coaches in the country and connects them with athletic directors, providing tremendous networking and leadership development opportunities for both parties. Now in its seventh year, the annual symposium also includes educational programming with a variety of successful leaders and speakers from across the industry.

The 2024 symposium is scheduled for June 10 at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center.ESPN and ESPN2 will cover the meet throughout the week.

🔺 Fought Til The End. Another spring where the OSU baseball boys continued to prove they’re among the best in the country.

They fought until the very last out, but dropped a tough 4-2 decision to Florida in the winner-take-all regional final on Monday afternoon.

With the loss, the 12th -ranked Cowboys finish the season 42-19.

Zach Ehrhard and Aidan Meola drove in the OSU runs as the Cowboys collected six hits in the contest.

🔺 Call To The Hall. Some calls are just a little more special than others.

Two former OSU standouts got one of those special calls recently as Coleman Scott and Tadaaki Hatta were named inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame this past weekend.

Scott was a tremendous wrestler for the Cowboys from 2005-08, compiling a 120-24 record with 50 bonus-point wins. He became just the 13th four-time All-American in program history and eventually completed his incredible career with a 133-pound NCAA championship as a senior.

Hatta wrestled for Oklahoma State from 1964-66 after arriving in the United States from Tokyo, Japan in 1961. He put together a 36-8 career record as a Cowboy, highlighted by a junior season that included a perfect 12-0 record and an NCAA championship at 115 pounds.

Together, Scott and Hatta improve Oklahoma State's nation-leading total of alumni named Distinguished Members to 38, in addition to former head coach Joe Seay, a 1998 Distinguished Member, and 2018 Outstanding American honoree Randy Couture.
