🎧 OSU MAX PODCASTS
This past spring, he turned heads and earned All-American status.
Last week, he was named one of the top collegiate golfers heading into their final two seasons by the PGA Tour.
Safe to say, Jonas Baumgartner knows his way around the golf course.
Currently sitting in the top-30 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, OSU Max sat down with him earlier this spring to reflect on his journey, how he ended up in Stillwater and so much more.

🔼 Powering Through Poland. Not one, not two, but three members of the OSU family shined on the mats among some of the world’s best grapplers.
Fix, a 2021 World silver medalist, brought home the gold medal at 61kg, including a 6-3 victory over longtime rival Austin DeSanto.
Plott wrapped up his showing at the event with an incredible 10-0 technical fall in the bronze medal match, piling up his 4-1 record on the weekend.
🔼 We Got Some Pro Pokes. Last week, we highlighted the six Cowboys who signed their professional MLB contracts.
Make it seven as Brian Hendry (above) officially signed with the New York Yankees
But don’t you worry, that’s not the only pro league that OSU is dominating in.
Sure we’ve highlighted the golf success of late, but we’ve got NFL camps starting up, pro softball debuts and even more Pokes shining on the Diamond.
Check out some of the trending Pro Pokes of late.

🔼 Welcome Back, Old Friend. One of the founding members of the Big 12 is coming home.
Late last week, it was released that Colorado will be rejoining the Big 12 conference beginning in 2024-25.
The Buffs were one of the original group of schools that made up the Big 12 conference when it formed in 1996.
🔼 Lights, Camera, Action. Before camp starts back up, the fellas jumped in front of the cameras, showed off the pearly whites and had a little fun at last week’s media day.
Ready for the real thing now 😤

🔼 ICYMI… Our Favorite Jonas. You all can have Nick, Joe and Kevin? We’ll take Baumgartner.
That’s right, the debate over who your favorite Jonas is should be simple, it’s Jonas Baumgartner from the OSU men’s golf squad.
This past spring for the Cowboys, Baumgartner received honorable mention All-America status and was named a first-team All-Big 12 pick.
He tallied five top-10 finishes on the year. He picked up his first career victory this spring at the Mountaineer Invitational and had runner-up showings at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup and the Big 12 Championship.
In partnership with the World Amateur Golf Ranking, PGA TOUR University ranks players based on the last two years of their collegiate careers. Eligible tournaments include NCAA Division I men's team competitions, official PGA TOUR tournaments and select DP World Tour events.

33 wins over Top 25 Teams Since 2010.
To be among the best, you got to beat the best and that’s exactly what the Cowboys have done over the past 13 years under Coach Gundy.
This list proves that as OSU ranks seventh in the country in total wins over Top 25 opponents since 2010.
Don’t worry, we’re not done adding to that number anytime soon….
🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA
The year was 2010…
As we mentioned above, since 2010, the Cowboys have the seventh-most Top-25 wins of among all FBS programs.
That streak had to start somewhere, right?
Can you name the first Top-25 opponent that OSU beat to start the string of 33 Top-25 wins since 2010?
Got a guess?

🎥 OSU MAX
Very few people can put “Hall of Famer” next to their name.
Being recognized as one of the best to ever do it, in any walk of life, is pretty special.
That’s exactly who Terry Miller was in Stillwater and still remains to this day.
One of the best to put on the Orange and Black and hit the gridiron. His name is all over the OSU record book and this fall he will go into the Ring of Honor.
As we prepare for this fall, look back at Miller’s induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
