As the start of the 2024 season is just ✌️ days away, expectations are high
and veterans like Korie Black are part of the reason why.

Black is among a slew of returners with experience as he enters this fall with 50 career games under his belt, having racked up 64 tackles, 13 pass deflections, three forced fumbles and one INT in his career. His 26 career starts is the most by any OSU defender on the 2024 roster.

With four straight wins, including a defeat of top-10 ranked Nebraska, as well as four consecutive shutouts, OSU is turning some heads early.

On the heels of two more wins this past week, the Cowgirls moved up the rankings once again and now sit at #11 and #14 in the two national polls.

In addition to the rankings, a pair of OSU standouts earned recognition with freshman Bella Pierotti being named Big 12 Freshman of the Week, while senior Mollie Breiner was named to TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week for the second consecutive week.

🔼 Bengin’ Out. We’d have to say Carson Benge is settling in quite nicely in the Sunshine State.

The first round pick for the Mets and former All-American at OSU made it two HRs in two days yesterday in St. Lucie’s victory over Jupiter.

In his last 10 at-bats, Benge has six hits, two HRs and six RBI.

The OSU wrestling blood is thick and no matter where Cowboys go, the family is always behind them, which was event this week when the boys got together to support Nick Piccininni in the UFC Contender Series.

Piccininni remained unbeaten in the octagon, winning his seventh straight match by decision over Jack Duffy on Tuesday night.

During his time at OSU (2016-2020), Piccininni was a three-time All-American and amassed a record of 112-17.
