🔼 Three Musketeers Cowboys. Cowboy Wrestling have long been associated with Team USA Wrestling and this weekend is no different.

Three Cowboys are part of the Team USA Roster that is competing in the prestigious Poland Open in Warsaw on Sunday, July 30.

Dalton Fix (61 kg), Dustin Plott (79 kg) and Braden Thompson (86 kg) will all be in action during the men’s freestyle competition that will start on Sunday at 4 a.m. CST.

🔼 Our Favorite Jonas. Nick, Joe, or Kevin? Nah, we’ll take Baumgartner.

That’s right, the debate over who your favorite Jonas is should be simple, it’s Jonas Baumgartner from the OSU men’s golf squad.

This past spring for the Cowboys, Baumgartner received honorable mention All-America status and was named a first-team All-Big 12 pick.

He tallied five top-10 finishes on the year. He picked up his first career victory this spring at the Mountaineer Invitational and had runner-up showings at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup and the Big 12 Championship.

In partnership with the World Amateur Golf Ranking, PGA TOUR University ranks players based on the last two years of their collegiate careers. Eligible tournaments include NCAA Division I men's team competitions, official PGA TOUR tournaments and select DP World Tour events.

🔼 Getting to Know You….. Watch out folks, Quion Williams has a microphone!

That’s right, throughout the summer, we’ll be sitting down with Quion and a new face of his choice so our Orange and Black faithful get a sneak peek into who some of our newest Cowboys are and their personalities.

🔼 Black Jack! No, we’re not talking about the card game.

We are just 21 days away from the return of Cowgirls futbol and a quest for another Big 12 Championship for Coach Carmichael’s squad, who enter the fall loaded with young and hungry talent.

🔼 Save The Date(s). No, we don’t have any cheesy, staged pictures in a meadow or on a beach for you, but we do have some dates to lock in those iPhone calendars of yours (we guess you can too Andrioid users).

🔼 Elevation In Progress. Two foundational pieces of OSU wrestling success in recent years earned promotions.

Entering his seventh season on the staff, Caldwell spent the prior six seasons as the program's recruiting coordinator. Under Caldwell, the Cowboys consistently signed classes ranked in the top five nationally, including the top-ranked class of 2023 that was highlighted by No. 1 pound-for-pound wrestler Christian Carroll.

Harding assumes Caldwell's former position after spending his first year on the Oklahoma State staff as a volunteer assistant coach.

Harding wrestled at Oklahoma State from 2014-18, qualifying for the NCAA Championships twice. He then transferred to North Carolina as a senior and appeared at the NCAA Championships for the third time in five years.

🔼 The Honors Court. Holding court in the classroom? That’s exactly what the OSU men’s hoops team did this past year.

Rising seniors Weston Church and Carson Sager were named to the NABC Honors Court and the Cowboys collectively earned the organization's Team Academic Excellence Award.

🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 37 DAYS

Prior to Brandon Weeden’s arrival in Stillwater, only one Cowboy had ever passed for more than 30 TDs in a season.

Weeden became the second in 2010, passing for a school record 34 TDs in 2010. That record didn’t last long as Weeden tossed for a new school record, 37 TDs.

That record was tied six years later by Mason Rudolph, but Weeden remains the only OSU QB to ever throw 30+ TDs in two or more seasons.

What better way to relive those memories than catching a Pokes Pod Rewind with the man himself?

🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA

As you’ve read in previous weeks, OSU is a #GolfSchool.

With alums up and down the pro rankings and dominating leaderboards each and every week, the list of success on the course is very long for the Orange and Black.

Jonas Baumgartner is in line to join that crew after earning a top-10 ranking in the first PGA Tour University rankings of 2023.

Who was the last Cowboy to earn a top-10 spot in those rankings?
