🔼 Causing a Ruckus. Now that’s how you start your final year of college football.

OSU safety Trey Rucker racked up a team-high 15 tackles in the season-opening win over South Dakota State. His performance earned him his second career Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week accolade.

His 15 total tackles and nine solo stops were tops among power conference defensive players this past weekend. They were both career highs for the Waldorf, Md. native.

🔼 Crown Her. Welp, that’s one of introducing yourself to the new family.

Newcomer Grace Kilcrease made her OSU debut this past weekend by taking home the individual title at the Carmel Cup, the women’s golf team’s season opening tournament in Pebble Beach, Calif.

Kilcrease fired a final round 69 including six birdies to claim the top spot and OSU’s 104th individual champion in program history. It is also her first-ever collegiate victory after spending the previous two seasons at Tulsa.

As a team, OSU finished fifth, shooting a final round score of 375. They outperformed the two other Big 12 schools, TCU and Texas Tech, as well as Oklahoma, who they'll meet again at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman in late September.

🔼 Rock You Like A Hurricane. As the season winds down for former Cowboys in the minors, Roc Riggio is making the most of every last at-bat.

The former OSU star has now homered in back-to-back games and has three in his past six outings. During that span, Riggio has seven hits, three HRs, eight RBIs and five runs scored.

For the season, Riggio has 11 HRs and 44 RBIs at High-Class Hudson Valley in the Yankees organization.
