The 2023 Ryder Cup is almost here and the Orange and Black have their fingerprints all over it with a program record three former Cowboys in action.

Wyndham Clark and Rickie Fowler are donning the Red, White & Blue, while Viktor Hovland will be on the tees for Team Europe. Clark becomes the ninth different former Cowboy to play in the event.

The TV Coverage for the prestigious event is as follows:

Friday, Sept. 29: 12:30 a.m.-11 a.m. CT (USA)
Saturday, Sept. 30: 12:30-2 a.m. CT (USA); 2 a.m.-11 a.m. (NBC, Peacock)
Sunday, Oct. 1: 4:30 a.m.-12 p.m. CT (NBC, Peacock)

🔼 Futbol Is Life. Ted Lasso took over streaming platforms across the world during COVID.

Now, the Cowboy futbol squad is bringing the hit show to Stillwater with their own version of Ted Lasso night.

Plenty of awesome giveaways to go along with the first-ever Big 12 showdown with UCF. Not to mention, our Cowgirls are looking to stay unbeaten at home this season!

Now, the official lab work is underway as Cowboys hit the practice courts to prepare for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

🔼 Honoring a Legend. And the resume grows.

It’s tough to find something that isn’t already on John Smith’s resume, but this week, a new line was added.

The legendary OSU wrestling coach received the inaugural Oklahoma Sports Heritage Award this week.

The award is sponsored by the Oklahoma Sports Heritage Museum and celebrates both one's athletic achievement and dedication of community service to the state of Oklahoma.

Coach Smith is a name synonymous with wrestling success. Now in his 33rd year, Smith is Oklahoma State's all-time winningest's coach with a dual record of 476-72-6. He has led the Cowboys to five NCAA team championships and 23 conference championships, while earning NWCA National Coach of the Year in 1994 and 2003. Under Coach Smith, Oklahoma State has recorded 131 conference champions, 152 All-Americans and 33 NCAA individual champions.

⚾️ FALL BALLIN’ WITH OSU MAX 🥎

Pokes fans hungry for a taste of OSU baseball and softball need to make sure to tune in to OSU Max this weekend for live interviews, player features, inside access and comprehensive coverage of the Cowboy and Cowgirl Fall Ball exhibition games.

The weekend’s events begin at 1 p.m. CT this Saturday as Cowboy Baseball takes the field vs. Central Oklahoma. Hear from head coach Josh Holliday live both pregame and postgame plus live interviews with student-athletes during every inning throughout the game. Don’t miss this chance to hear from Nolan Schubart, Tyler Wulfert, Zach Ehrhard, Ryan Ure, Ryan Bogusz, Drew Blake, Ian Daugherty while getting to know the newcomers as well. Rex Holt and Matt "Chief" Davis will serve as hosts on the broadcast for the event while calling the action on the field.

Then tune in again on Sunday beginning at 3 p.m. CT as Cowgirl Softball takes the diamond to face Wichita State. Head Coach Kenny Gajewski will join the broadcast live before and after the game and fans will also hear from assistant coaches for interviews throughout the game along with players including Ivy Rosenberry, Lexi Kilfoyl, Jilyen Poullard, Megan Bloodworth, Caroline Wang and Micaela Wark.

🎥 FACE-TO-FACE WITH FOWLER

Before he jetted off with the rest of Team USA, Rickie spent a weekend in his beloved Stillwater to etch his name in OSU history forever.

Fowler was recently inducted into the OSU Hall of Honor and while he was in town, OSU Max sat down and to talk about his early years in golf, playing at OSU and what his professional career has been like since leaving Oklahoma State.

The 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 7-12 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
