🎥 MY TIME: SCOTLAND DAVID

As if you needed yet another reason to be cheering loudly for the Cowgirls this weekend, this story will light a fire under you even more.

OSU senior Scotland David is a walking testament to not giving up.

The Ponte Vedra, Florida native, has overcome personal losses and season ending injuries, remaining at OSU to fulfill her childhood dream of playing for the Cowgirls.

🔺 Bedlam Is Upon Us. Quite simply, there’s nothing else like it.

This year, it’s no different and there’s no better way to close out the Bedlam series this athletic calendar than a top-four showdown on the softball diamond.

The fourth-ranked Cowgirls are headed to Norman for a HUGE three-game set with defending national champion and #1 ranked Oklahoma.

🥎: The Weekend Preview

🔺 Head Of His Class. OSU men’s hoops senior Carson Sager has suited up hundreds of times at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Next weekend, he’ll be suiting up in a little different uniform.

The Wichita Falls, Texas native was picked as the OSU College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) Orange Gown recipient for the spring 2024 semester.

Every semester, a distinguished individual from each academic college is selected to don the orange cap and gown at commencement ceremonies. Sager will represent CEAT in the orange distinction on Saturday, May 11.

Sager has been a member of the President's Honor Roll for the past four years as well as a member of the McKnight Scholars program. He will be receiving Bachelor of Science degrees in computer engineering and electrical engineering in addition to a minor in computer science.

In addition to those accolades, Sager was a two-time Academic All-Big 12 selection for the Cowboy Basketball team.

🔺 Among The Elite. Throughout her two years in Stillwater, Lexi Kilfoyl has continued to put herself in the conversation with the country’s best softball players.

This season has been no different.

Her outstanding season earned her a spot as a Top 26 finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, announced earlier this week.

Kilfoyl has an ERA of 1.16 and leads the Big 12 in shutouts (6) and victories (19). Of her six shutouts, four were against ranked opponents, including a pair of complete-game shutouts against then-No. 2 Texas, the No. 2 offense in the nation at that time. 

Enjoying a career season in her final year of collegiate softball, Kilfoyl has set multiple single-season career highs so far: victories (19), shutouts (six), saves (three), and opponents' batting average (.173). 

Kilfoyl has swept the Big 12 and NFCA Pitcher of the Week awards on two separate occasions this season, the first pitcher in school history to do so.

Juniors Nick Martin and Ollie Gordon are two of the most well-known names on the OSU football roster and for good reason. Both Cowboys made plenty of big plays throughout the 2023 season and are ready to do even more in 2024.

QB Alan Bowman was a big part of the Cowboys 10 win season in 2023.

He finished his first year in Stillwater passing for 3,460 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also rushed for two touchdowns against Iowa State and Oklahoma.
