We’re just over a month over into the 2024 season and it’s already been a historic one for the OSU Cowgirls on the hard courts.

The program’s first-ever #1 ranking, the first-ever ITA National Indoor title and they’re only just getting started.

On Monday, it surely was for the 8th-ranked Cowgirls picked up a road victory in the Swamp, 3-0, over #16 Florida.

Veteran hurler Lexi Kilfoyl tossed seven shutout innings, allowing just three hits and striking out six. The Gators only got one runner to second base all night long.

Freshman Karli Godwin provided the only offense needed as the youngster blasted her first career HR in the third inning with two outs and two on to give OSU the 3-0 lead.

🔺 Senior Salute. There’s only one way to send your seniors out…. on top.

On a day that the Cowgirl equestrian program celebrated their seniors, they did just that, taking down #3 SMU on Saturday in Stillwater with an 11-9 victory.

Eight Cowgirls either set or tied career bests, and Bella D'Onofrio put forth the second-best Horsemanship performance in OSU history after scoring a 79.75. D'Onofrio's score is the highest by any Cowgirl freshman and sits in the top six all-time in the NCEA.

🔺 Rollin’ Along. Later this spring, the Greenwood Tennis Center is set to host not only Big 12 Championships, but also the NCAA Championships.

At this rate, it’s a danger zone for opponents as the OSU men’s squad won their fifth straight to match its best start since 2018, including eight victories at home.

This past weekend, the Cowboys swept Drake, 7-0, to improve to 9-2 overall.

It marked the second straight season that OSU shutout a nationally-ranked opponent on the road after a 5-0 defeat of Baylor in Waco last March.

OSU running back Ollie Gordon received his Doak Walker Award in a ceremony at SMU in Dallas on Friday night. Before the ceremony he and former Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith spoke to the media in attendance.
