Several members of this year’s OSU softball squad have talked at length about the connectivity of the group.

That connectivity is on display in a big way in the latest edition of OSUMax’s Hangin’ with Haidyn as the sophomore outfielder takes behind-the-scenes of one of their most recent road trips through the Lone Star State.

🔺 SHOWTIME! Whether in Stillwater, down in Texas, or in the Florida sunshine, the Pokes have one thing on their mind… bringing home some hardware.

No, they aren’t going to the nearby Lowe’s or Home Depot, four OSU squads are title hunting this week with both tennis squads doing battle in the Big 12 Championship, while the equestrian squad is in Ocala, Florida squaring off in the national meet and the women’s golf team are hunting for some hardware at the Big 12 Championships in Texas.

The equestrian squad kicks it off at 1:30 this afternoon when they take on third-seeded Auburn in the first round of the NCEA Championships. The Cowgirls enter the weekend having won six of their past seven meets.

On the hard courts in Stillwater, the top-seeded women’s squad will open play in the 2024 Big 12 Championships against sixth-seeded UCF tonight at 6 pm, while the men’s team opens play on Friday at 3pm when they take on fourth-seeded UCF.

In Hockley, Texas, the Cowgirls hit the course in search of a second straight Big 12 title and 12th overall when they tee off in tomorrow’s opening round.

🔺 Sending Shockwaves. Not a bad way to end the road trip.

The sixth-ranked Cowgirls softball squad used a five-run fifth inning to propel themselves to a hard-fought 6-5 road victory over Wichita State.

Caroline Wang had two RBIs to help pace the offense, while Megan Bloodworth and Micaela Wark both had a hit and RBI for the Orange & Black.

In the circle, Ivy Rosenberry got the win tossing 3 2/3 innings of relief, striking out five and picking up her 11th win of the season.
