He made 57 field goals during his career and ranks second all-time in career scoring.

That talent went onto the NFL for nine seasons and this week, he joined the Old Pokes Show to talk about his time in Stillwater, his passions beyond the field and much more.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Going Green. Last night, the first former Cowboy took the NFL field for 2023 when AJ Green joined the Browns for the first preseason game of the year against the upstart NY Jets.

(insert info on the game, etc.)

🔺 Diamond Boys. As we prepare for our fall sports to take the field in the next month, now is a perfect time to reflect back on what a year it was for our Diamond Cowboys.

Six 40+ win seasons under Coach Holliday.

10th consecutive NCAA Tournament bid.

Five selections in the top 10 rounds of the MLB Draft.

And much, much more!

🔺 Rise and Grind. Man, does it feel good to have footage from practices back or what?

It feels like we’ve been waiting forever and now the Orange and Black are back grinding for the fall.

We can’t wait for an exciting year ahead here in Stillwater.

📝 ICYMI…

🔼 On Her High Horse. Incoming freshman Bella D’Onofrio isn’t even in Orange and Black yet and she’s already piling up here winnings.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, D’Onofrio captured the top prize in OKC this past week at the AQHA World Championship Show.

She was crowned the World Champion in both the L3 14-18 Equitation and L3 Performance Halter Geldings.

Not only that, she was the reserve World Champion in the L3 14-18 Showmanship and L3 14-18 Hunter Under Saddle categories.

Now that’s what we call making a first impression.

🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 29 DAYS

Talk about a stingy defense.

In 1947, facing off against then non-conference opponent, Kansas State, in the season opener, the OSU defense LOCKED down the Wildcats.

That’s right, 29 yards TOTAL yards of offense allowed in a 12-0 victory for the Orange and Black.

Now, that’s a defensive showcase.
