Happy Tuesday Cowboys and Cowgirls. Well, the good news is that Steve Harvey isn’t handing out these awards.
It was an award-winning Monday in Stillwater as we took home a National and Big 12 honor in two different programs.

OSU head cross country coach Dave Smith won his fourth NCAA Cross Country championship leading the Cowboys to a dominating victory over defending champion Northern Arizona.

🔼 And The Award Goes To... It was a truly historic fall for the OSU cross country program.
And the man that led the Orange & Black to new heights was honored this week as Coach Dave Smith was named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year.
Smith saw the Cowboys win the program’s fifth national title just a few weeks ago in Charlottesville, Va.
🔼 Ruckin’ It Up. He was not going to be denied.
Trey Rucker was determined to be a part of the 2023 Big 12 Championship game and the redshirt senior made it happen, forcing two turnovers, including the game-clincher in Saturday’s double-overtime win over BYU to clinch OSU’s spot in the title game.
For his efforts, Rucker was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week.
