“Make no mistake. It’s not revenge he’s after. It’s a reckoning.”
For OSU, that reckoning was on Saturday night in a preview of Big 12 After Dark with the Cowboys storming the desert and coming away with their eighth straight road non-conference win, a 27-15 victory over Arizona State.

🔼 Global Grapplers. Five years ago, it was history. Now? We’re going back for more.
OSU head coach John Smith announced that the Cowboy grapplers would be heading back to Sicily, Italy to take on NC State. The same two programs, who are perennial ranked among the nation’s best, became the first ever to wrestle an NCAA dual outside of North America.
This time, the Cowboys and Wolfpack will square off on December 30 at the Naval Air Station Sigonella, just outside of Catania.
In addition to the close duals throughout the series history, the personal ties of the matchup extend to its head coaches, as Coach Smith was NC State head coach Pat Popolizio's collegiate head coach at Oklahoma State. As a Cowboy, Popolizio racked up a career record of 88-38 before graduating in 2001.

🔼 Justice Is Served. Opportunity knocked for former Cowboy Justice Hill in the season opener for the Baltimore Ravens.
With his teammate JK Dobbins down to injury, Hill got his chance in the second half of the Ravens’ home opener and made the most of it, scoring a career-high two TDs to lead Baltimore to a victory over the Texans.
🔼 Speed Bump. The red hot OSU futbol squad hit a speed bump on Sunday afternoon in Dallas.
Winners of five straight and owning one of the most potent offenses in the country, the Cowgirls couldn’t break through against a stifling SMU defensive presence in a 1-0 defeat by the Mustangs to snap the winning streak.
SMU got on the board in the first 15 minutes of the game and packed it in to hold on for the victory.
OSU opens Big 12 conference play this week when they travel to Iowa State for a Thursday evening matchup.
🔼 Now On The Tee. OSU men’s golf squad kicked off its fall slate this past weekend at the Sahalee Players Championship in Washington.
Fifth-year Rayhan Thomas led the way with a top-10 finish overall, while newcomer Gaven Lane tied for 10th in his Cowboy debut.
The Cowboys will be back in action this week, when they play at the Fighting Illini Invitational in Olympia Fields, Ill.
Got a nice 𝑹𝑰𝑵𝑮 to it 💍

🔼 Put A Ring On It. The OSU track & field programs listened to Beyonce and they did in fact put a ring on it.
This weekend, the Cowboys and Cowgirls received their Big 12 Championship rings at a ceremony this weekend.
What do you say we go get another one?

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER
Answer: UTSA in 2013.
A dominating 56-35 victory on the road over UTSA back in September of 2013 got the streak started. In the game, J.W. Walsh tossed for over 300 yards and four TDs and got OSU out to a 42-7 mark in three quarters as the Cowboys rode to an easy victory.
10 years later? That streak is still going strong.
🤠 Let’s have a great Monday, y’all!
