Who doesn’t love a little Smash Mouth throwback early on a Thursday morning?
While their classmates may be enjoying trips to the beach and all parts of the country, two Pokes got to work on the diamond as rising sophomores Kyle Bade and Blake Julius were both named to the Appalachian State All-Star Game.
This summer, Julius leads the Appy League with a 0.00 ERA, while holding batters to a .123 average against and a WHIP of 0.75.
Bade has pitched to a 2.33 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over five starts, notching 27 strikeouts.
