🔼 Clipping Their Wings. It’s always important to call home, especially during the holiday season. When you do that, sometimes you have to dial long distance.

That’s exactly what the OSU men’s basketball squad did in their return home to GIA with 14 3-pointers leading the Pokes to a decisive 81-60 over Oral Roberts on Sunday afternoon.

Bryce Thompson and Quion Williams each had 13 points, while freshman Eric Dailey Jr. had a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards on the day.

🔼 House Protected. When it comes to home, there’s just something special.

The Cowgirls are proving that as the Orange & Black won their fourth straight overall and moved to a perfect 6-0 with a 76-58 win over visiting Southern Illinois on Sunday.

Incoming transfer Hannah Gusters made her OSU debut in a big way with 21 points and seven rebounds, while freshman Stailee Heard continued her impressive season with 18 points and six rebounds.

🔼 Country Pride. Sure, red and green are popular this time of year.

But there’s nothing that will ever compare to wearing the red, white and blue.

Two former Cowboys punched their ticket to battle for a spot doing just that as Alex Dieringer and Gary Traub both finished in the top-three at USA Wrestling Senior Nationals to earn a spot at the Olympic Trials.

Dierginer was the top finished as the former Cowboy won the gold with a decisive 6-0 win in the 86kg finals. Traub won bronze on the weekend to earn a spot at the trials.

The Cowboys are going bowling yet again to extend their consecutive bowl appearances to the sixth-longest active streak in the country.
