Relive the week as the Cowboys give back to the community and post the third largest comeback in school history to earn their spot against the Texas Longhorns trying to win the Big 12 title.

This Saturday, those same Cowboys play for a Big 12 Championship for the second time in four years.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Piling Up The Praise. With the big game just two days away, a few of the Cowboys will have a few extra items in their luggage.

Ollie Gordon II was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and Coach Gundy was named the Chuck Neinas Big 12 Coach of the Year for the second time in the past three seasons.

Five total Cowboys earned All-Big 12 accolades, as Gordon was joined on the first team by LB Nickolas Martin, and WR Brennan Presley, LB Collin Oliver and K Alex Hale all earned second team recognition.

🔼 Orange All Over. The football fellas weren’t the only ones piling up the awards this week.

There was Orange & Black all over the Big 12 Cross Country awards with the Cowboys sweeping the three major awards on the men’s side and the Cowgirls taking home two of the three major honors.

Coach Smith earned Coach of the Year accolades on both sides to add to his historic year.

🔼 For Coach. The legend of Coach Sutton started at Creighton from 1969-74. It went to another level when he reached Stillwater in 1990 and guided the Cowboys to nearly 400 wins, 13 NCAA Tournaments and two Final Fours.

Those two programs, so near and dear to Coach Sutton and his family, meet TONIGHT in Stillwater.

While the basketball game is important, the support of Coach Sutton’s Foundation is a far more significant than any points scored or dunks made.

🔼 On The Rise. 5-for-5.

Tuesday night made it five straight weeks for the Pokes in the College Football Playoff Rankings as the Cowboys jumped to #18.

OSU has been included in all five releases of the CFP Rankings, their first time doing so since being ranked in every poll of the 2021 season.

🔼 Heritage And The Hardwood. Through the first month of the 2023-24 season, freshman Stailee Heard has turned heads and made a name for herself with her play for the OSU women’s basketball team.

Her name and her heritage is what drives the Oklahoma native, who has a deep appreciation for her rich Native American heritage.

OSU head cross country coach Dave Smith won his fourth NCAA Cross Country championship leading the Cowboys to a dominating victory over defending champion Northern Arizona.
