🔺 The Smash Sisters. The late 80s/early 90s Oakland Athletics became famous for their HR hitting and the infamous “Bash Brothers” duo.
Well, the 2024 OSU Cowgirls might be labeled, The Smash Sisters.
The Orange & Black hit 🖐 more HRs as they swept the first day of the South Florida Showdown, which started with the one of the most lop-sided victories over a top-five program as the Cowgirls shutdown #4 Washington, 7-0. The nightcap saw a 6-1 win over host South Florida.
OSU has now hit 20 HRs in the first 12 games, including 10 in the past three outings.
🔺 The Showdown. Nothing needs to be said. It’s the greatest rivalry in college wrestling.
#2 OSU vs. #3 Iowa.
National Champions. Olympians. You name it. Both programs bring storied history to the mats and Sunday’s showdown will be no different.
A sold out GIA. Two of the top three programs in the country.
Hear from Coach Smith, Izzak and Dustin as they preview this weekend’s match.
