🔼 Movin’ On. After a stellar freshman campaign with the Cowboys, Preston Stout is continuing his strong play at this week’s 2024 U.S. Amateur in Chaska, Minn.

Through the first two rounds, Stout fired a 4-under to earn a tie for 12th and the 16th seed headed into the match play, which starts with the top 64 finishers out of the field of 200+ amateur golfers.

OSU newcomer Ethan Fang, a transfer from Cal, is also up for a spot in the match play as he enters a playoff this morning with 14 other players vying for the final 11 spots in the 64-player match play bracket.

The first official contest of the 2024-25 OSU athletic calendar is less than 48 hours away as the Cowgirls hit the road to take on Nebraska in the season opener for both squads.

Throwing it back to one of the most exciting players to
ever wear an Oklahoma State jersey, #17 R.W McQuarters.

McQuarters was an exceptional athlete, and showed off his skills
on offense, defense, and special teams on the football field, as well
as being a member of the Cowboy basketball team.

He was drafted in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the
San Francisco 49ers, and went on to have a spectacular career
in the pros. His professional career was highlighted by
winning Super Bowl XLII with the New York Giants.
