Keep fighting. Brendon Evers, the former defensive end at Oklahoma State, started his life journey as an adopted child. He achieved the impressive feat of winning three consecutive championships while studying at Bixby High School.

Things changed, though. During his time at Oklahoma State, he battled through numerous injuries and played in 53 games across five seasons. However, his Cowboy Football career came to an end in late 2022 due to a persistent shoulder injury that required him to focus on his recovery.

🔼  Too Bad, Tulsa. A six-run fifth inning lifted No. 3/3 Oklahoma State softball to a 9-1 run-rule victory in six innings over Tulsa, Tuesday evening at Cowgirl Stadium.

With the win, OSU improved to 36-3 and TU fell to 16-21.
 
Ivy Rosenberry got the nod in the circle, improving to 5-2 on the year with 4.0 innings of work.

The Cowgirls welcome UT Arlington to Cowgirl Stadium tomorrow with first pitch slated for 6:00pm CT on ESPN+ and The Varsity Network.

🔼 Falling Short. Oklahoma State baseball fell 8-5 to Oral Roberts in their midweek meeting at O'Brate Stadium last night.

For the 14th-ranked Cowboys, the result moved them to 23-11 on the season, while Oral Roberts rose to 24-10.

The Pokes return to Big 12 action on Friday when the Cowboys open a series against West Virginia at O'Brate Stadium. The opener is scheduled for a 6:00pm CT first pitch.

🔼 Triple Time. After dropping a midweek clash against then-No. 22/25 Wichita State and then bouncing back with a sweep over conference foe Kansas, the Oklahoma State softball team ranks No. 3 in both the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll and the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25.
