It was a milestone weekend for two former Cowboys southpaws in the MLB.

Justin Wrobleski became the 75th OSU alum to play in the big leagues as he made his debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday

In addition, former Cowboy Andrew Heaney had a milestone of his own as the southpaw picked up his 1,000th career MLB strikeout with the Rangers on Saturday night against the Tampa Bay Rays.

🙌 HIGH FIVE!

Make it FIVE Pokes heading to Paris as OSU’s track & field program
added three more family members to the 2024 Olympics over
the long weekend.

Getting it started in the middle of last week was former Cowgirl Ariadni Adamopoulou, who earned a spot in the pole vault and will represent Greece.

Jacob Fincham-Dukes joined the party, earning his third straight spot in the Olympic Games as he will compete in the long jump for Great Britain.

Lastly, on Sunday, Gabija Galvydyte earned a spot in the 800m and
will represent Lithuania.

🇺🇸 EARNING HIS STRIPES

While the rest of the country was barbecuing and shooting off fireworks, OSU star Nolan Schubart was celebrating his patriotic pride in a different way.

Playing as part of Team USA’s Collegiate squad, Schubart earned MVP accolades as the Stars & Stripes swept a series against the
visiting Chinese Taipei squad.

In the series, Schubart hit .600 with two HRs and seven RBIs, while
walking 12 times for an on-base percentage of .818.
