🔼 School In Session. Man, do we love having a buzz back around campus!

Sure, the summer months are nice, but we love seeing Orange and Black all over Stillwater and classes back in session.

It’s great to see our OSU students back and we can’t wait to see you all this fall at plenty of our home games!

🔼 All He Does Is Catch Touchdowns. Two preseason games, Two TDs.

That’s what former Cowboy Tylan Wallace has done for the Baltimore Ravens as he battles to earn a spot on the 53-man roster come the end of August.

Wallace, now entering his third year in the NFL, has had a tremendous camp with the Ravens and is turning heads as camp wraps up.

He has three total catches in the first two games, two of which have been for TDs, including this second quarter score on Monday night against Washington.

Next up: a final preseason showdown with Tampa Bay on Saturday night at 8 p.m. CST.

🔼 Let’s Link Up. The journey has been set. The quest for three begins now.

The two-time defending Big 12 Champion OSU women’s golf program has announced its 2023-24 slate, beginning in Peeble Beach on Sept. 1-3.

"We are very excited about this year's schedule," Coach Robertson said. "Our team will have the opportunity to compete from coast to coast on some of the nation's best golf courses against some of the top teams in college golf."

OSU, which placed 11th in last year's NCAA Championship, will again be led by senior Maddison Hinson-Tolchard, the reigning conference individual champ and a participant in this summer's Women's U.S. Open, as well as rising junior Clemence Martin.

🔼 California Love. Fall in California sounds nice, huh?

To prep for the spring season, the Cowgirls will play in eight events this fall to get ready for a run at a Big 12 Championship next spring.

The spring season includes OSU hosting the 2024 Men’s and Women’s National Championships in May right here in Stillwater.

🔼 Cup Full of Cowboys. Can you make it two please?

Last week, it was announced that Viktor Hovland would be a member of Team Europe in the Ryder Cup. This week, another Cowboy earned a spot in the prestigious event.

Wyndham Clark was named to Team USA for the first time in his career, making him the fifth OSU golfer to earn a spot in the event.

Clark is having a career year with two PGA Tour wins, seven top-10 finishes and 13 times in the top-25. He currently sits ninth in FedEx Cup points.

Home Sweet Home. This picture is forever etched in OSU Wrestling history. A 2008 National Champion.

That is Coleman Scott and now he’s back to wearing his favorite colors, Orange and Black. Scott was announced as the Associate Head Coach on John Smith’s staff for the upcoming season on Monday.

During his OSU career, he is one of only 15 four-time All-Americans in program history and was a 2008 NCAA individual champion. He was part of OSU national championship teams in 2005 and 2006.

He also won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics.

After the Olympics, Scott broke into coaching with two years as a volunteer assistant at OSU before getting a full-time assistant position at North Carolina for the 2014-15 season. After one year as a UNC assistant, he was elevated to head coach.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: 🔟 seasons of 🔟+ wins.

See what we did there? We really doubled-down on the whole “10” thing.

The first double-digit win season came in 1984 when the Cowboys went 10-2, and matched that in 1987 and 1988.

It would be until 2010 when OSU would return to double-digits, which they’ve now done in seven of the past 14 seasons, with record highs of 12 wins in 2011 and 2021.

🤠 Enjoy your Wednesday, y’all!
