🔼 What A Hoot. Sometimes all it takes is a nice home cooked meal.

Not sure what the Cowgirls ate, but we’ll make sure to get it to them on Sunday as well as OSU blew past visiting Florida Atlantic at Patterson Stadium on Thursday night, 3-0.

After having to miss all of last fall with an injury, Hannah Chance is making the most of her junior season as the Broken Arrow native scored two more goals on Thursday night for a team-leading three in the first three games.

She gave the Cowgirls an early lead with a breakaway goal in the 16th minute and then would score again in the second half to seal the victory. In between Chance’s goals was freshman Adelhia Ghonda scoring her second goal of the season.

Grace Gordon and Ary Purifoy combined for the shutout, racking up three saves in the contest.

🔼 Hovland On The Hunt. Coming off last week’s magic, former Cowboy Viktor Hovland knew he wanted to keep it going, especially in one of the biggest tournaments of the year.

Hovland did that and fired a two-under in Thursday’s opening round of the PGA Tour Championship to sit tied for the lead with Colin Morikawa and Keegan Bradley.

Fellow Cowboys Wyndham Clark (10th at 6-under) and Rickie Fowler (14th at 5-under) are also in contention as the tournament heads to the weekend.

The top-30 players in the FedEx standings are battling it at in Atlanta. What’s at stake? Oh just a cool $18 million payday for the winner.
