📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Sweep! The No. 5 wrestling team beat No. 13 Northern Iowa 34-3 on Friday. The Cowboys took nine of 10 bouts, collecting bonus points in four of them. The men also beat No. 3 Iowa State 24-9 on Sunday. The men took seven of 10 bouts. The win improves the Cowboys to 12-1 overall and 7-0 in the Big 12.

🔼 Cruised Past. The women’s basketball team beat Arizona 88-69 on Sunday. The team is now 18-5 overall and 7-3 in conference play. Stailee Heard led the team with a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds. Micah Gray also had 23 points. Achol Akot was right behind with 22 points.

🔼 Victory! The men’s basketball team won its first Big 12 road win of the season against Utah 81-69 on Saturday. This also marks the program’s first conference road win since Feb. 21, 2024. Anthony Roy hit five three-pointers and scored 26 points. Christian Coleman recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

🔼 Runner-Up. The women’s golf team wrapped up its weekend at the Collegiate Invitational. The Cowgirls finished in second place with a final score of 871 (+7). Grace Kilcrease earned her second top-10 placement of the season. She tied for sixth place with a score of 214 (-2).

🔼 Run It. The track and field team competed at the Razorback and DeLoss Dodds Invitational meets this past weekend. On Friday, Olivija Vaitaityte set a new program record in the women’s pentathlon. Blair Anderson took third in the long jump. Pradeep Kumar broke the Indian National Record in the 800m. On Saturday, Billah Jepkirui broke her own school record in the 3,000m. Isca Chelangat finished high behind in second place.
