🔼 Talkin’ Hoops. Lights, Camera, Action. Hoops seasons is almost here.

To help get us ready for the upcoming 2023-24 OSU women’s hoops season, the Bears took over KC at the Big 12 Tip-Off Event yesterday with Coach Hoyt and crew jumping on the mic and having some fun for the cameras.

🔼 Titletown. Well, one thing was for sure entering Tuesday, the champion was going to be wearing Orange and Black.

Junior Ange Oby Kajuru was that champion as she claimed the ITA Cnetral Regional singles championship, besting her Cowgirl teammate Anastasiya Komar.

Kajuru defeated fellow Cowgirl Komar, 6-0, 6-4, to become the first ITA Central Regional champion from Oklahoma State since Lisa Marie Rioux in 2019. Both Kajuru and Komar earned automatic bids into the ITA Fall National Championships, set to be played on Nov. 2-5 in San Diego, California.

🔼 Stack Em Up. When you pick up a dramatic win over a nationally-ranked opponent, awards tend to pile up.

The Orange and Black are experiencing that as not one, not two, but THREE Cowboys were honored this week for their performances in the 39-32 win over Kansas this past weekend.

Ollie Gordon II - The star RB not only was named the Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Week, but he was named the Doak Walker National Running Back of the Week and the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Player of the Week.

Brennan Presley - The veteran wideout was one of three FBS players named to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll after his big day against the Jayhawks. The Award honors the nation’s most versatile player. Excelling on offense and special teams Saturday, Presley touched the ball four different ways and scored twice, including the winning touchdown, in the Cowboys' come-from-behind win.

Alex Hale - Make it two for OSU’s veteran kicker as Hale was named a Lou Groza Award “Star of the Week” for a second straight week. The weekly honor is given to the top three kicker performances in the FBS. Hale, a senior from Point Frederick, New South Wales, Australia, nailed four field goals in the win, including two in the fourth quarter with a long of 42 yards that put the Cowboys up seven points with less than a minute remaining in the game.
